  • A change to currency formatting in report downloads

    If you're using the new AdWords API ReportDefinitionService, you may have noticed that monetary values in reports are returned as conventional currency instead of micros. At the request of the developer community, we'll be changing the format to micros on February 1, 2011 to make reporting more consistent with other AdWords API services.

    A micro value is equal to one million times the conventional currency value, and is a standard we use throughout the AdWords API (including v13 reports) to represent money. For example, values currently returned

    Election Day is finally here in the U.S., and many people are turning to the web to get information before heading out to vote. On Hot Trends at 1pm PT today, 13 of the top 20 searches were election-related, most of which had to do with figuring out where to vote. Terms like [polling place locator], [voting locations by zip code] and [where do i vote] have been popular all day, as well as state-specific searches like [nc board of elections] and [where to vote in minnesota].   • New in Google Docs and Google Sites

    Two big advantages of building web applications are frequent feature releases and easier cross-product sharing. Today we have a little of both for you. This week, we are adding version history to uploaded files in the documents list as well as drop downs in horizontal navigation and a new sharing experience to Google Sites.
